RE101 (RE/JQ-1/TTI)
HARTDUR RE101 (RE/JQ-1/TTI) | |
Trade Name: | RE / JQ-1 / TTI |
Chemical Composition: | Contains 27% triphenylmethane-4,4',4"-triisocyanate and 73% ethyl acetate |
Hartdur RE101, similar to RE/JQ-1/TTI, is a solution which contains 27% triphenylmethane-4,4ˊ,4〞-triisocyanate and 73% ethyl acetate. It’s an universal curing agent/crosslinker for adhesive based on hydroxyl polyurethane, natural and synthetic rubbers, especially great for bonding rubber materials. It’s also widely used for bonding metals with rubber. Furthermore, Hartdur RE101 can be applied on resin, antioxidant, plasticizer, etc.
In adhesive field, Hartdur RE101 is applied as the crosslinking agent on neoprene adhesive and/or p hydroxyl polyurethane adhesive in footwear areas. Generally, for curing adhesive of 100 parts by weight (pbw) based on the recommend amount of 4-7 pbw Hartdur RE101. The pot life of mixed adhesive is around hours.
Package
0.75 KG/Aluminum bottle; 20 Bottles/Carton
It can be packaged on demand. Please inquire.
After adding a certain proportion of Hartdur RE101 to the adhesive, the ready-to-use double-component adhesive should be applied within a period (pot life) which is determined not only by the polymer content of the adhesive, but also by the other ingredients of the formulation (e.g. resins, antioxidants, solvents, and etc.). If the adhesive is not used within this period, it may become increasingly difficult to apply and quickly become viscous and no longer be used.

Strorage
When stored in its original sealed containers at 23℃, Hartdur RE101 can remain stable for 6 months. It is highly sensitive to moisture and reacts with water to form carbon dioxide and insoluble urea. Thus, the container must be kept sealed. The ingress of water in any form (damp containers, anhydrous solvents, humid air) must be prevented as otherwise the formation of carbon dioxide may cause a dangerous increase in pressure in containers. When exposed to the air or strong oxidants, it’ll be discolored but not affect its performance in general.
※Hartdur RE101 will be discolored when exposed to air and/or light but this does not effect on its properties in general.
